Job summary

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider serving commercial and government initiatives across the United States.

We are currently seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our team. You will analyze complex system requirements, design software tools and subsystems, manage development using formal methods and CASE tools, and supervise configuration management to improve performance and reuse.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years relevant experience.
• BA/BS in a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.
• Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
• Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule.
• Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
• Supervises software configuration management.
