Job summary

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. seeks a Database Administrator to support government and commercial initiatives across the United States. The role emphasizes Oracle databases, data modeling, ETL, and performance tuning in RHEL and Windows environments.

You will join a security-conscious team, requiring IT-II NACLC clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level I, OCP, and a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong SQL/PLSQL and ArcSight/Splunk familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Federal Government audit readiness & reconciliation.

• Experience with Oracle on RHEL and Windows.
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL/PLSQL, stored procedures.
• Experience with ETL into Oracle and data modeling with Erwin.
• Familiarity with ArcSight and Splunk.
• Data mart and dimensional modeling experience.

Job description

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Database Administrator to work for our company.

Summary:

• Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency
• Expert in particular business processes, responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization’s business plan and industry requirements.
• Acts as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.

Requirements:

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• Possess Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Must have a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
• Bachelors Degree required.
• Must possess at least five (5) years relevant experience.
• Must possess at least three (3) years Financial Website experience within the Federal Government.
• Must possess at least three (3) years Federal Government Audit Readiness & Reconciliation
• Must be proficient in Java, Python, WebLogic Scripting, Linux Shell scripting C#, HTML/Javascript
• Working knowledge and experience performing Oracle database analysis tasks in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows development and production environments.
• Working knowledge and understanding Oracle RDBMS, SQL and PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and data access optimizations.
• Working knowledge and experience with PL/SQL, SQL Loader, and all aspects of data ETL into Oracle database on RHEL and Windows systems.
• Working knowledge and experience with ArcSight.
• Working knowledge and experience with Splunk.
• Working knowledge and analytical database experience on large-scale application data models
• Working knowledge and experience with Data mart population and dimensional models, including aggregation, partitioning, indexing strategies.
• Working knowledge and experience with data modeling tools, Erwin, in development and documentation of logical and physical data models for all Oracle instances
• Experience demonstrating relevant tools and techniques such as coaching, advising, workshops, and mentoring.
• Experience at the Organization level, executive coaching on the fundamental considerations of digital service delivery design.
• Requires extremely strong customer relation skills.
