Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer to support Medicare Part D enrollment processing, focusing on daily batch operations, FTP, and ETL processes. You will troubleshoot failures, schedule jobs, and assist with releases while partnering with business, development, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate has 1-3+ years of experience with SSIS, SQL, DB2, UNIX, and production support, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

1-3+ years proficiency with SSIS, SQL, DB2, UNIX in a large-scale environment.
1-3+ years working knowledge of Windows AD, Networking, Batch Scheduling, ETL, FTP.
1-3+ years of experience in application production support (L1-3), incident management, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and IT operations processes.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze, run, monitor, and maintain daily batch operations, FTP, and ETL processes.
Troubleshoot job failures and research IT/business requests.
Create and schedule jobs; support production activities and release deployments.
Handle requests from internal/external customers, vendors, and clients; meet service levels.
Collaborate with business, development, and infrastructure teams to deliver projects and system upgrades.
