Job summary

State of Michigan, Department of Technology Management and Budget, is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst for the Health Services Medicaid Reporting team in Lansing. The role supports DTMB data analytics and visualization initiatives, performing design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions with a focus on reliability and security.

The position requires collaboration across agencies, technical mentoring, and evaluating impact and risks of changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data processing, IT project management or related field.
• Associate's degree with substitution options plus two years of IT experience.
• Educational level can be substituted with equivalent IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement computer systems and applications for the DTMB Data, Analytics, and Visualizations team.
• Provide technical support and mentor other DTMB staff on IT issues.
• Evaluate impact, risks, and disaster recovery implications of changes to IT solutions.
