Job summary

State of Michigan’s Department of Technology Management and Budget seeks an Information Technology Programmer Analyst to design, develop, and maintain MDHHS Data Warehouse database models. You will ensure naming standards and collaborate across data warehouse teams to implement scalable data structures.

Hybrid work is available (two days on-site in Lansing, three days remote). A bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is required, with additional IT experience and certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science or related field.
• Two years of IT experience or substitution options described in the posting.
• Ability to work with data warehouse models and MDHHS DW standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of database models for the MDHHS Data Warehouse.
• Coordinate team activities with other data warehouse teams on complex multi-team projects.
• Review and modify DDL, ensure naming and definitional standards are followed.
• Collaborate to review existing structures and propose design improvements.
