Electric Reliability Council of Texas seeks a senior software developer to design, develop, test, document and maintain complex ERCOT applications. You will work with customers, business area SMEs, and cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions aligned with the ERCOT SDLC.
Qualifications include strong Java/SpringBoot experience, containerized development with Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices. Minimum 5 years senior or 8 years lead experience required.
Design, code, test, document and maintain applications to meet ERCOT business needs based on the ERCOT defined Software Development Life Cycle. Work closely with customers, business area subject matter experts, team members and other internal technical teams to design, develop and maintain complex ERCOT applications in support of market needs and internal corporate requirements. Use toolsets that adhere to the frameworks of the technical stack used across the Application Services division and ensure products and solutions comply with the organization’s architectural standards.
On‑site in Taylor, TX, minimum2days per week. Remote work permitted from Texas residency; flexible schedules based on business needs.
Expected salary range: $109,000–$150,000 per year.
