Job summary

Electric Reliability Council of Texas seeks a senior software developer to design, develop, test, document and maintain complex ERCOT applications. You will work with customers, business area SMEs, and cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions aligned with the ERCOT SDLC.

Qualifications include strong Java/SpringBoot experience, containerized development with Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices. Minimum 5 years senior or 8 years lead experience required.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern integration patterns (messaging/streaming).
• Strong Java (Java17/21/25) and SpringBoot (3.x/4.x).
• Container-based development (Docker/OpenShift/Azure Kubernetes Service) and DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Experience building, scaling and troubleshooting high-volume, high-performance data apps.
• Relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL) experience.
• 5+ years (senior) or 8+ years (lead) of related experience beyond degree.
