Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Professional Application Designer to join a team delivering cutting-edge solutions that improve health outcomes. You will code, test, and document complex programs while collaborating with clients and leadership to shape requirements and design robust systems.

The role emphasizes analytical problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to lead a small group within a development team. Remote work within the US is supported with some travel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of programming or testing experience with relevant languages, databases, OS and software.
• Knowledge of programming languages, design principles and the SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design and testing.
• Strong written and oral communication to work with team, support personnel and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as a leader on a team.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs.
• Analyze, design and write specifications and requirements for programs.
• Evaluate existing systems and assist project manager in task assignment; work with the team.
• Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects; validate requirements.
• Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as code reviews.
• Participate as a development team member and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed.
• Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members.
