Job summary

The State of South Dakota's Bureau of Information and Technology is seeking a full-time Application/Business Project Manager. You will coordinate with product owners, stakeholders, and SCRUM teams to document scope, assumptions, constraints, and risks while supporting both agile and waterfall project approaches.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Visio, Power BI, and ServiceNow (PPM/ITSM/CM/Reporting).

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Visio and Power BI; ServiceNow PPM/ITSM/CM/Reporting.
• Experience with SDLC and managing projects in agile and waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and teams.
• Identify risks, constraints, and develop mitigation plans.
• Track progress, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Lead meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.
