Job summary

Abbott Cancer Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to lead design, configuration, upgrades, and improvements for key platforms. You will be a primary end-user support contact, perform impact analysis, build and test changes, and mentor junior analysts.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and vendor staff, guide workflows, ensure timely delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting a standard work schedule and occasional on-call, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu.
• 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions as an application analyst or project delivery SME in healthcare domains.
• Ability to obtain Epic certification within 8 weeks of hire and work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests.
• Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes.
• Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor’s implementation staff.
• Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for workflows.
• Participate in training and work with end users.
• Troubleshoot problems and questions.
• Provide end-user support for issues entered into tracking systems.
