Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to provide expert support and configuration of assigned applications. The role includes mentoring junior analysts, training customers, and driving improvements in operational efficiency.

You will manage change, work across IT teams, and contribute to budget and project planning to ensure reliable application availability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and at least five years of IT or clinical workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience; four additional years of related experience if needed.
• Five years’ IT, clinical or business workflow experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale clinical or business environments.
• Epic certification must be maintained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support and configuration of assigned applications.
• Assist, train, and support customers and junior analysts.
• Mentor more junior analysts and lead change across IT teams.
• Manage budgets and project plans for initiatives.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and availability of applications.
