Job summary

HR Green, Inc. in Aurora, IL seeks a Senior Application Administrator to lead engineering design and GIS platform administration, including Autodesk, Bentley, and Esri, plus a broad set of desktop and web applications.

You will build packaging/deployment automation, manage licensing, liaise with vendors, and support the Service Desk. Regular evening/weekend maintenance and on-call rotation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in application administration, IT operations, or technical support for CAD/BIM or GIS.
• Experience with packaging, deployment automation, and endpoint-management tools.
• Knowledge of software licensing models and license-manager administration.
• Experience coordinating with vendors through to resolution.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for complex application issues across engineering, productivity and business applications; coordinate with vendors.
• Lead operational support of CAD/BIM and GIS platforms; standardize versions and manage workspaces and add-ins.
• Design, build, test, and maintain application packages and deployment automation; test updates before release.
• Administer license managers and licensing portals; monitor utilization and licensing compliance.
• Implement application monitoring and drive permanent fixes and automation.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain documentation/knowledge base across offices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
