Job summary

PTR Global is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain native apps across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Deep hands-on Swift/SwiftUI, strong architecture skills, and enterprise-grade delivery are required.

Day 1 onsite Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, TX (Client Prefers local folks). Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Long term contract with mostly virtual interviews. Join a team delivering scalable apps across Apple platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software or mobile app development experience.
• Native iOS development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• UIKit and Apple development ecosystem experience.
• Experience with iPadOS and macOS deployments.
• AppKit, Mac Catalyst or macOS frameworks knowledge.
• Swift Concurrency and async/await understanding.
• Experience with MVVM, MVC or TCA patterns.
• REST APIs and backend integration.
• Xcode, Git, XCTest, XCUITest and debugging.
• CI/CD, TestFlight and App Store deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS/iPadOS/macOS applications for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• Build modern UIs with SwiftUI and UIKit/AppKit.
• Create reusable components and shared code across Apple platforms.
• Define scalable architecture using MVVM, MVC, or TCA.
• Integrate with REST APIs and backend services.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and stability.
• Write unit/UI tests with XCTest and XCUITest.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance problems.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA and engineering teams.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, TestFlight deployments, and App Store releases.
• Mentor engineers and promote Apple best practices.
