Job summary

PTR Global is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain native apps across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Deep hands-on Swift/SwiftUI, strong architecture skills, and enterprise-grade delivery are required.

Day 1 onsite Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, TX (Client Prefers local folks). Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Long term contract with mostly virtual interviews. Join a team delivering scalable apps across Apple platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software or mobile app development experience.
• Native iOS development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• UIKit and Apple development ecosystem experience.
• Experience with iPadOS and macOS deployments.
• AppKit, Mac Catalyst or macOS frameworks knowledge.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain native applications across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, strong application architecture skills, and experience delivering scalable, high-quality applications within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop native applications for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• Build modern user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit/AppKit.
• Develop reusable components and shared code across Apple platforms.
• Define scalable application architecture using MVVM, MVC, TCA, or similar patterns.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, backend services, and third‑party frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, responsiveness, and stability.
• Write unit and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve performance or concurrency problems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or TCA.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON services, and backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Xcode, Git, XCTest, XCUITest, and application debugging.
• Experience with CI/CD, TestFlight, and App Store deployment.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining a shared codebase across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
• Objective‑C experience supporting or modernizing legacy applications.
• Experience with Combine, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, or AVFoundation.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Backend development exposure using Java, Go, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing secure, scalable applications in large enterprise environments.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
