Job summary

LMI seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to define and maintain the end-to-end ACWS solution architecture across Appian, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and DevSecOps. Lead technical direction to align with program objectives and serve as the primary interface for government stakeholders and delivery teams.

You will guide nonfunctional requirements, assess feasibility, and produce architecture artifacts and DoD-aligned documentation for mission success.

Qualifications

• Provide guidance on secure cloud deployment, identity and access management, application security, resilience, performance, and scalability.
• Partner with developers, Appian specialists, database administrators, DevSecOps engineers, and testers to resolve issues.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical improvements to sustainability, usability, security, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture for ACWS.
• Lead solution-level architecture across the Appian application stack, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data architecture, integrations, test automation, and DevSecOps capabilities.
• Serve as primary architectural interface for government stakeholders, program leadership, and delivery teams.
• Guide architectural runway, technical feasibility assessments, and nonfunctional requirements.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, architecture syncs, and solution refinement.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts and technical documentation consistent with Army and DoD standards.
