Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Sr Platform Appian Engineer II to join the BPM Enablement Platform team in Newport Beach, CA. You will support Appian Investments applications and collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in BPM app design/development, Appian certifications, and strong .NET/Java experience. A hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience designing and developing BPM Applications.
• Appian Level 2 and/or 3 Certification.
• Software development experience (.NET, Java, Visual Basic, C#, etc.).
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Technology and Business teams to understand the business process and requirements and provide end-user support.
• Partner with IT and functional areas to develop simple, effective solutions to streamline workflows.
• Ensure smooth operation of Investments Appian applications by monitoring performance and applying updates.
• Identify areas for process improvement within Investments Appian apps and implement enhancements.
• Assist with creation and review of programming documentation and recommend development standards.
• Perform development and testing/debugging using best practices to minimize maintenance.
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions on Investments Appian applications with other Appian resources.
