Job summary

DMI, LLC is seeking an Applications Programmer, Level III (Appian) to design, develop, implement, and maintain complex Appian BPM applications on the Appian low-code platform, and to administer the program's Appian instance. The role owns operations and maintenance of a production portfolio of regulatory review workflows and mentors less experienced developers.

Appian platform experience is mandatory; the candidate will lead Appian development, integrate with external systems, and apply AI/LLM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or 4 years directly relevant experience.
• 8+ years of application development, with 5+ years Appian development.
• Current Appian certification at senior/lead level.
• Appian platform administration experience including Cloud deployment.
• Experience integrating Appian with external systems via APIs.
• Ability to mentor other Appian developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex Appian applications.
• Administer Appian instance, including cloud deployment and config management.
• Support production portfolio with bug fixes and minor enhancements (≈200 hours).
• Configure workflows, forms, records, and interfaces for regulatory review.
• Integrate Appian with external systems and services.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews for Appian projects.
• Implement AI/LLM capabilities within Appian workflows to automate processing.
• Support release planning, testing, and accessibility remediation.
