Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise Appian solutions. You will mentor teams, drive plugin remediation, and guide modernization aligned with Appian platform upgrades in a fast-paced Agile setting.

The role focuses on complex integrations, security, and scalable architecture, with responsibilities spanning development, reviews, and delivery leadership for federal contracts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• 4+ years of Appian development in Agile delivery environments.
• 4+ years troubleshooting Appian in Linux environments.
• 4+ years supporting complex integrations (APIs, web services, databases).
• 4+ years using Git/GitLab and modern source control workflows.
• US Citizenship or Green Card and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside in the United States and perform work domestically.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Appian applications.
• Lead remediation and modernization for custom Appian plugins.
• Analyze legacy plugins and plan scalable modernization approaches.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in Appian apps, plugins, and integrations.
• Collaborate with architects to define solution approaches and standards.
• Support platform upgrades and remediation across environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and planning.
• Develop reusable components and integration standards.
• Ensure security, coding standards, and best practices are followed.
• Support Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Stay current on Appian updates and AI capabilities.
