Job summary

TSPi is seeking an Intermediate Appian Developer to support Appian application development, plugin remediation, and modernization within complex enterprise environments. This role collaborates across Agile teams to deliver scalable solutions and participate in platform upgrades.

This is a 9-month project with potential extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive Appian development experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proven ability to work in fast-paced delivery environments

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Experience supporting Appian development within Agile environments.
• Experience with custom Appian plugins, Java-based development, or integrations.
• Strong SDLC and secure coding principles.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git/GitLab workflows.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications supporting complex workflows.
• Support remediation and modernization of custom Appian plugins.
• Troubleshoot issues related to plugins, integrations, and Appian apps.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers on scalable solutions.
• Support platform upgrades and modernization activities.
• Develop reusable components, services, and integration frameworks.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and solution implementation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment instructions, and support artifacts.
• Support API, web service, database integrations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries.
• Ensure coding standards and security practices.
• Collaborate with QA for defect resolution and deployment readiness.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist with estimation and delivery coordination.
• Work on knowledge sharing across Appian practice.
