Qualifications

• Excellent oral advocacy skills before appellate courts.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including brief writing, oral arguments, and motions practice.
• Provide on-site legal trial support to attorneys while they are trying cases in court.
• Meet with attorneys and review drafts of filings on substantive motions and responses.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to develop and execute litigation and appellate strategies.
• Draft clear, persuasive, and well-reasoned legal briefs and memoranda.
• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
• Stay current on legal developments in appellate law.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and staff.
