• Minimum of 5 years in appellate litigation, preferably plaintiff's side.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines.
• Excellent oral advocacy with appellate court experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including brief writing, oral arguments, and motions practice.
• Provide on-site legal trial support to attorneys while they try cases.
• Review drafts of filings on substantive motions such as summary judgment and post-judgment matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex issues.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to develop litigation and appellate strategies.
• Draft clear, persuasive briefs and memoranda.
• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
• Stay current on developments in appellate law.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff.
