Job Description

A dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and first-party property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Appellate Attorney to join their team in their Florida office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including brief writing, oral arguments, and motions practice.
• Provide on-site legal trial support to attorneys while they are in the process of trying cases in court.
• Meeting with attorneys and reviewing drafts of filings on substantive legal motions and responses such as summary judgement and post-judgment matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to develop and execute litigation and appellate strategies.
• Draft clear, persuasive, and well-reasoned legal briefs and memoranda.
• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
• Stay current on legal developments and changes in appellate law.
