Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Development to lead design and delivery of enterprise-scale applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions for a large enterprise organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with ~70% engineering and ~30% management, driving architecture and mentoring a team of 5–7 engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of technical leadership and/or engineering management experience.
• Strong hands-on architecture and solution design experience.
• Strong development background with Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java, APIs, microservices, AWS, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop high-level and low-level solution designs and ensure successful technical implementation.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineering resources (approx. 5-7).
• Drive projects from design through production delivery.
• Partner with product, architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders.
