Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for the APNT Solutions team in Cedar Rapids. You will lead and execute complex real-time embedded navigation and timing projects for military ground, air, and maritime applications, aligning with DoD security requirements and Agile practices.

This onsite role offers growth in APNT architecture, collaboration with IPTs, and exposure to navigation technologies while supporting program goals and customer missions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Active DoD security clearance required; eligibility/ reinvestigation as applicable.
• Travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide project execution management including detail planning, cost account management, and status analysis; participate in system design and implementation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies as a product owner and lead sprint reviews and demos.
• Collaborate across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on program goals and provide stakeholder communications.
