Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Technical Business Development leader for Specialization and APN Programs. You will define and drive worldwide strategy for partner validation, capacity, and outcomes, ensuring partners can deliver optimal customer results across workloads.

You will lead the transformation of the AWS Specialization Program into an AI-powered partner development platform, aiming to increase the number of capable partners and reduce validation friction at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including Compute/Edge/Hybrid/Security/Networking.
• 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies including AI/ML, Analytics, Database, and Storage.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with solutions or programs that have demonstrated enterprise success.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategy for AWS Specialization Program, guiding growth and customer outcomes.
• Architect shift from gate-based to growth-accelerator approach, increasing partner capacity.
• Develop customer intake signals for partner capability and business transformation.
• Create an index to drive program achievement and renewals.
• Set priorities across specialization and partner portfolio and balance resource constraints.
• Influence AWS senior leadership on program direction and investments.
• Create autonomous, AI-powered program operations to manage scalable partner growth.
• Design AI-powered launch readiness frameworks to shorten designation cycles.
• Define how agentic systems generate development recommendations for partners.
