Job summary

Gravitee, a leader in API and AI agent security, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build product experiences and APIs behind them. You will turn operational data into clear visualizations and help customers configure and govern APIs and AI agents.

In this hands-on role, you will move between frontend experiences, backend APIs, data models, and technical design to deliver end-to-end features and reliable delivery practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and running production backend software on a product team.
• Strong Java experience; design of maintainable REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong TypeScript/frontend experience with Angular and data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features end to end from discovery to release.
• Build and maintain Gravitee API Management features across gateway runtime, API, and console.
• Work on API security, rate limiting, and policy chains in request/response flow.
• Develop Java APIs/services using asynchronous, non-blocking patterns (Vert.x/RxJava).
• Build UI components and visualizations using TypeScript and Angular.
