Job summary

Endemandit is seeking an experienced IBM API Connect (APIC) Developer with deep Banking domain expertise. You will design, secure, and manage API gateways and lifecycle platforms to connect core banking apps, digital channels, payment gateways, and open banking ecosystems.

Responsibilities include API design, gateway policy development, secure integrations with IBM MQ, Kafka, and ESB, and developer portal management. A strong focus on OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, and JWT validation will be essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with IBM API Connect and API lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of banking domain standards and security practices including OAuth/OpenID Connect.
• Hands-on experience with API security, gateway policies, and data transformation.

Responsibilities

• API Design & Lifecycle Management: design, publish, and document RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specs within IBM API Connect (v10.x / Cloud Pak for Integration).
• Gateway & Policy Development: create custom policies, routing logic, rate limiting, and data transformations (JSON/XML, SOAP/REST).
• Banking Integrations: expose Core Banking, Payments, Cards, and Wealth Management services; integrate with IBM MQ, Kafka, and ESB (IIB/ACE).
• API Security & Governance: implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, JWT validation, encryption, and API key validation.
• Developer Portal Administration: manage and customize the APIC Developer Portal for fintech integration and sandbox testing.
• Operations & Troubleshooting: monitor traffic, analytics, performance tuning, and RCA using IBM DataPower, Splunk, or ELK.
