Job summary

System Soft Technologies seeks a senior integration engineer to lead complex IBM ACE/ESQL based integrations and API management using IBM API Connect. The role involves defining architecture, governance, and reusable patterns to deliver scalable integrations.

You will drive API lifecycle design, automation with APIC CLI, and DevOps pipelines while providing tiered support and performance tuning across teams.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate extensive expertise with IBM Integration Bus.
• Experience with IBM API Connect recommended and hands-on.
• Strong background in API-driven development and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define integration architecture, patterns, and standards.
• Develop complex integration solutions using ACE, ESQL, JavaCompute.
• Design and manage APIs in IBM API Connect; implement API lifecycle.
• Automate API lifecycle using APIC CLI; define governance and security policies.
• Build reusable templates and frameworks for integrations; DevOps YAML pipelines.
• Provide applications support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Lead and collaborate with multiple teams; drive decisions and solutions.

• Master proficiency in IBM Integration Bus is required.
• Expert proficiency in IBM API Connect is recommended.
• Expert proficiency in API Development is suggested.
• Define integration architecture, patterns, and standards Develop complex integration solutions using ACE message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute Design and manage APIs in IBM API Connect Implement API lifecycle management (design publish secure monitor) Automate API lifecycle using APIC CLI (apic) Define and enforce API governance, versioning, and security policies Build reusable templates and frameworks for integrations DevOps Solution Design : YAML pipelines for ACE and APIC ( Nice to have Azure DevOps) Applications support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
