Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years IT experience.
• 7–10+ years of experience in test automation.
• Expertise in API automation using REST Assured, TestNG, and Postman.
• Expertise in UI automation using Selenium Java.
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD platforms.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON structures, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
• Proficiency in Java and collaboration in mixed tech environments.
• Experience with API security testing and negative scenarios.
• Onsite operations in Woodlawn, MD daily.
• Experience with MongoDB, Liberty/Java services, .NET/Angular UI, Solr, MFT, and DB2 on z/OS.
• Familiarity with Control-M and VAL/MC processes.
• Experience with service virtualization using WireMock, Mountebank, or Parasoft.
• Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• 508 compliance testing exposure.
• Familiarity with enterprise validation tools (ALM/UFT/Parasoft).

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and evolve automated API and UI testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and reporting.
• Conduct release validation in VAL environments and support MC sanity checks.
• Triage broker and health alerts and collaborate on resolutions.
• Apply POM and SOLID to scalable automation codebases.
• Lead code reviews and modernization efforts.
• Implement and validate API security controls per OWASP Top 10.
• Introduce and configure service virtualization for distributed systems.
• Design and maintain test data strategies including masking/deterministic pseudonymization.
• Conduct accessibility validation per Section 508.
• Mentor cross-functional teams.
• Develop reusable technical how-tos, best practices, and training for validators and developers.
