Job summary

Wyetech, LLC in Maryland is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test solutions for REST APIs and web UIs. You will drive Linux command-line tooling, Python-based automation, containerized test execution, and CI/CD integration using Jenkins and GitLab pipelines.

The role includes evolving our in-house automation framework, migrating from Robot Framework to modern tools such as Playwright, plus developing SQL validations and data handling.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Bash scripting, Python, and PyTest for maintainable automated testing.
• Experience building and migrating test automation frameworks, including Robot Framework and modern tools like Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites for REST APIs and web UIs.
• Build a scalable test automation framework with CI/CD integration.
• Migrate legacy Robot Framework tests to modern platforms such as Playwright or AIO.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, estimate, and execute test strategy.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for automated validation steps.
• Troubleshoot CI failures and improve test reliability.
