Job summary

Salesforce LMTS role on the API Platform team. You will provide technical leadership for scalable, secure foundations enabling rapid application development across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, drive contract-first API practices, and partner with architects, product managers, and cross‑functional leaders to translate business needs into durable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale enterprise or platform solutions.
• Experience leading architecture and delivery across teams, services, or product areas.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript; strong API and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience designing AWS infrastructure and IaC, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding and engineering tools; strong quality and security controls.
• Ability to mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, reliable, secure API platform solutions.
• Define technical strategy and roadmap for API platform capabilities.
• Champion contract-first engineering across cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership for cross-team initiatives and align teams on platform standards.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and leadership to translate requirements into durable solutions.
• Drive AI-assisted tooling usage to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security.
• Lead design reviews and ensure scalability, availability, and maintainability across platforms.
