Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior API Developer to design, build, and operate large-scale backend services powering critical workloads. You will architect core platforms used across engineering teams, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and performance.

The role requires 6+ years of backend experience, strong Java/Go/Scala skills, and hands-on Kafka and cloud platform expertise. This is a 100% remote, US-based opportunity with full-time Direct W2 employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or Scala.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts including consensus, replication, and CAP.
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL data stores.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
