Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior API Developer to architect and deliver critical financial crime compliance integrations. You will own real-time API layers connecting core systems with FircoSoft platforms and WorkFusion-driven automation.

Lead complex integration patterns, ensure robust security (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), and implement thorough observability and audit logging. You will guide the team on payload transformations and enterprise integration patterns while ensuring high-throughput, low-latency

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience with 3+ years leading integrations involving AML tools.
• Deep REST API design skills and strong API security practices (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).
• Expert Java and Spring Boot for microservices; proficient in cloud-based architectures.
• Experience deploying apps in OpenShift or Kubernetes; strong messaging with Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Understanding of cloud networking, service meshes, and security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build compliance interfaces for critical financial systems and FircoSoft integrations.
• Lead WorkFusion automation interfaces and develop secure outbound API calls with automation pipelines.
• Implement deep FircoSoft Continuity integration (CMAPI) and transaction screening logic.
• Design robust error handling, retries, and tamper-proof audit logging for regulatory compliance.
• Establish observability and health monitoring for real-time throughput and latency insights.
• Provide technical leadership on JSON payload transformations and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
