Job summary

Twist Bioscience Corporation seeks a Staff Integrations Specialist to lead API and B2B eProcurement integrations within the IBT organization. You will define architecture, resolve complex challenges, and establish best practices for customer-facing delivery across the enterprise.

The candidate will bridge customer systems and core technologies, translating scientific workflows into scalable, robust solutions and shaping the platform roadmap with Product and IBT leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a business systems analyst, technical integrations, solution architecture, or technical delivery.
• Proven lead technical authority in customer-facing integration, technical product management, or systems engineering.
• Experience with APIs, web services, authentication methods, and B2B eProcurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for customer-facing integrations, establishing SOPs, design patterns, and scalability blueprints for APIs and B2B eProcurement technologies.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex API-based integrations and punchout solutions, handling edge cases and real-time monitoring.
• Shape API and Punchout product roadmap with Product and IBT leadership, prioritizing features and architectural refactors.
• Translate enterprise customers' technical requirements into API intake and data-mapping specifications.
• Direct and optimize B2B punchout integrations across major platforms (Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba, Oracle/PeopleSoft) and protocols (cXML, OCI, EDI, JSON, XML).
• Act as liaison between customer procurement teams, middleware providers, and internal stakeholders to align on standards and mitigate go-live risks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration playbooks, API specs, and troubleshooting frameworks.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to assist onboarding and resolve critical integration bottlenecks.
