Fairstead seeks a Service Manager to supervise repair and maintenance of our property portfolio. You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, ensure safety compliance, and maintain clean, well-kept premises across our communities.

The role requires 3+ years in property maintenance, strong trade skills, and the ability to lead projects and teams. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and knowledge of tools and safety are essential for success at Fairstead.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in property maintenance.
• Proficient in a trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Yardi Software and RealPage experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of other maintenance employees.
• Taking a leadership position on special projects.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Work independently on routine projects and receive assistance for more complex projects.
• Occasional need to work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
