Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Service Manager to supervise the repair and maintenance of its properties. You will ensure timely equipment installation and upkeep, oversee electrical and mechanical systems, and uphold safety standards across facilities.

You will lead maintenance staff, drive special projects, and manage routine tasks with independence, while occasionally handling overtime for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in property maintenance.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Knowledge and experience using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Great organization and project management skills.
• Able to implement and improve policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Yardi Software knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance employees and oversee repair/maintenance of property buildings.
• Take leadership on special projects and perform skilled maintenance tasks.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Work independently on routine projects; escalate complex issues.
• Occasionally work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
