Job summary

Greenbrier Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee apartment community maintenance, perform repairs, troubleshoot, and conduct preventative tasks. The role reports to the Property Manager and involves coordinating with residents, vendors, and the management team to maintain safety and curb appeal.

We value experienced professionals with HVAC certification, a positive attitude, and willingness to handle on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

HVAC certification is required (universal).
At least 3 years of apartment maintenance experience with basic electrical and plumbing skills.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and enjoy helping residents.
Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to respond to off-hour emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance tasks with the Property Manager to ensure prompt completion.
Respond to maintenance requests and follow up with residents, vendors, and staff.
Answer on-call emergencies in a timely manner.
Close out open tickets and ensure work is completed satisfactorily.
Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and safety.
Obtain competitive bids for maintenance-related expenses as needed.
Work with contracted vendors and monitor progress and quality.
Participate in training and staff meetings and follow safety policies.
