Job summary

Greenbrier Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage general maintenance across the apartment community. You will perform repairs, troubleshooting, turnover, and preventative maintenance, reporting to the Property Manager.

Requirements include 3+ years in apartment maintenance, universal HVAC certification, and reliable transportation. On-call flexible hours and a commitment to safety and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

HVAC universal certification is required.
Experience in apartment maintenance with basic electrical and plumbing diagnostics/repair.
Ability to be a team player in a respectful work environment.
Willingness to respond to off-hour emergencies and resident concerns.
Must possess basic tools for the trade and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance functions with the Property Manager.
Provide timely follow-up with residents, vendors, and management on maintenance requests.
Respond to on-call emergencies promptly.
Close and follow up on open maintenance tickets.
Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and safety.
Coordinate with contractors and obtain competitive bids.
Ensure compliance with company policies including safety standards.
Participate in training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
