Job summary

Greenbrier Management Company in Wichita, KS is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee apartment community maintenance, including repairs, turnover, and preventive tasks. You will report to the Property Manager and work with residents, vendors, and staff to keep properties safe and appealing.

The role requires at least 3 years of apartment maintenance, universal HVAC certification, basic electrical and plumbing skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification (universal).
• 3+ years apartment maintenance experience including basic electrical & plumbing.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community and perform repairs, turnover tasks, and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with residents, vendors, and the Property Manager for timely service.
• Respond to on-call emergencies promptly and close outstanding tickets.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and facilities daily to maintain curb appeal and safety.
• Retain and monitor outside contractors; obtain competitive bids for maintenance work.
• Participate in training sessions and company meetings.
