Louis Vuitton U.S. Manufacturing (LVUSM) seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead high-volume AP across California and Texas facilities.

The role reports to the Accounting Manager and drives end-to-end AP processes, vendor relations, and process improvements in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP (3+ in supervision), strong SAP and Excel skills, and a track record of accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, with a preference for manufacturing industry exposure.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and team development.
• Working knowledge of sales/use tax, 1099 reporting, and vendor compliance (e.g., COIs, W9s).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience highly preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Power BI).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to adherence to policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Resilient and proactive, capable of thriving in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish and/or French) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AP specialists, managing workload to meet KPIs.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative high-performing team.
• Facilitate weekly AP/Purchasing team meetings, present KPI reports, address and resolve past due invoices.
• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including three-way matching, accurate invoice coding, and timely approvals.
• Oversee vendor invoice processing, handling escalations and acute issues.
• Ensure precise entry of vendor invoices into ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Process, reconcile, and monitor AP aging and ITBR aging reports, resolving discrepancies.
• Act as primary contact for vendor inquiries, investigate payments, reconcile statements, and clear overdue accounts.
• Guarantee compliance with vendor terms, PO, contracts, and internal controls (3-way match).
• Maintain accurate vendor master data in OSS, including tax docs and banking details.
• Process weekly payment runs with proper review and approvals.
• Develop and enforce guidelines for invoice handling and coding for GL expenses.
• Collaborate with Senior Accountants and FP&A for month-end reporting and budgeting research.
• Reconcile AP subledger and GL accounts.
• Administer Amex P-Card program and reconcile with cardholders.
• Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly AP metrics (aging, discounts, DPO).
• Assist in yearly audit preparations, tax documentation, and recordkeeping.
