Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Senior AP Specialist to support the procure-to-pay process and drive process improvements within the finance team. This remote role focuses on processing invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate accounting in alignment with company policies.

The Senior AP Specialist will collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolve discrepancies, and assist in special projects as needed. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR.
• Proficient in MS Office and automated financial systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve varied and complex escalated issues.
• Process PO and non-PO invoices in a timely manner per policy.
• Maintain accurate client files and improve invoicing/collection procedures.
• Ensure timely payments and proper recordkeeping for tax/audit.
• Train and guide Accounts Receivable/Payable team members.
