Job summary

Plus Power is seeking a Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to join a remote-first accounting team. The role focuses on high-volume AP processing, Stampli and NetSuite workflows, vendor management, and GAAP-compliant reporting to support a fast-growing energy storage leader.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years’ relevant work experience in an accounting department.
• Renewable energy, power and utilities, or construction experience preferred.
• Excel with macros, pivot tables, and data queries.
• Experience with Stampli and NetSuite or similar software.
• Strong organization and communication skills with multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of AP invoices via Stampli across entities, with proper GL coding and approvals.
• Verify vendor terms and select payment methods and timing for cost efficiency.
• Coordinate W-9s, payment instructions, and vendor banking details verification.
• Set up vendors in NetSuite and banking platforms; maintain vendor data.
• Process credit card transactions and support 1099 reporting.
• Assist GAAP-compliant accounting close and periodic reporting.
• Maintain journals and ledgers, ensuring accuracy and controls.
• Support investor reporting, budgeting and forecasts as requested.
• Develop internal controls and processes to safeguard assets.
