Job summary

WE Soda USA in Green River, Wyoming is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP team and manage the end-to-end payables cycle. You will oversee invoice processing, coding, three-way matches, payments, and month-end close to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years in AP with 3+ years of supervision, strong SAP ECC experience, and expertise in SOX controls and vendor tax reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• 7+ years of progressive AP/accounting experience, including at least 3 years supervising or leading a team.
• Hands-on SAP (ECC) experience for AP processes and month-end close.
• Experience with vendor tax reporting (1099, foreign-vendor 1042/1042-S) and W‑9/W‑8.
• Strong internal controls knowledge and ability to support audits (SOX).
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AP team; set priorities and ensure coverage across payment runs and close.
• Own end-to-end AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment, including three-way match.
• Oversee payment runs via check, ACH, wire, and cross-border payments with proper approvals.
• Own AP month-end close—accruals, cutoff, and liabilities completeness.
• Reconcile AP balances and bank statements; maintain vendor master data quality.
• Ensure 1099 and foreign-vendor reporting compliance; manage W‑9/W‑8 collections.
• Drive AP KPIs and pursue process improvements; support SOX controls and audits.
