Tier4 Group is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Consultant for a contract position in a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment. The role focuses on aged invoice backlogs, 3-way matching in SAP, and strong data quality improvements to reduce duplicate payments.

The ideal candidate has extensive AP experience, excels in unstructured settings, and supports core AP processing, month-end close, and audits while driving root-cause solutions across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience required, including supervisory/lead experience in AP.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience in automotive Tier-1/Tier-2 manufacturing or heavy industrial environments with PO, GRN, and 3-way match knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level research and manual 3-way matching on aged invoice exceptions (30-40+ day backlog) using SAP ERP and Looker dashboards.
• Investigate and resolve price variance blocks, price effectivity date mismatches, and volume discount discrepancies.
• Reconcile multi-site inventory and receiving lags, including inter-facility transfers and direct-ship parts.
• Manage non-standard billing structures such as Blanket PO lump-sum kick-outs and non-PO tariff items.
