Cambridge is modernizing how finance works, with Accounts Payable at the forefront through Workday Financials, supplier portals, and automated close processes.

As an Accountant III, you will own supplier-to-payment accounting across multiple entities, applying sound judgment to exceptions and using data to catch issues before they reach the general ledger. This senior role suits someone who thinks critically and wants to help shape a more automated finance function.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of accounts payable experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Critical thinking and sound judgment in resolving exceptions.
• Data literacy and ability to analyze data in Excel or similar tools.
• Ability to learn and improve finance systems as they evolve.

Responsibilities

• Process, review and approve supplier invoices in Workday.
• Resolve invoice exceptions and coding errors; decide on corrections or escalations.
• Prepare and review supplier payments with correct entity, bank account, timing and approvals.
• Collaborate with Procurement on supplier onboarding and banking changes.
• Prepare journal entries and post accruals for received goods/services.
