Job summary

Accounting Now in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior AP Analyst / Senior AP Accountant to own full-cycle accounts payable in a high-volume environment. This is an individual contributor role with no direct leadership responsibilities.

You will manage invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments across multiple locations and cost centers, perform reconciliations, support month-end close, and partner with department heads and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• High-volume AP experience.
• Strong vendor management and communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including high-volume invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Process and match invoices, including PO and three-way matching.
• Code invoices across multiple locations and cost centers.
• Perform reconciliations and support month-end close.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and handle escalations.
• Partner directly with department heads and internal stakeholders.
• Manage a shared AP email inbox.
• Identify issues, improve processes, and work independently with minimal supervision.
