Job summary

Mercury Systems manufactures PCBs for the aerospace and defense industry. You will ensure product quality by performing in-process visual verification of electronic assemblies, providing real-time feedback to operators, and documenting discrepancies. This role performs complex inspections, production readiness, and guidance to team members.

Hours: 2:30pm-12am. The position requires IPC certifications and hands-on soldering on PCB assemblies, with strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 3–5 years’ experience performing hand soldering.
• Meticulous hand-eye coordination for soldering on complex PCBs.
• Ability to communicate openly for real-time feedback.
• Customer-focused, "Zero-Defect" mindset.
• IPC-A-610 certification.
• IPC-J-STD-001 certification.
• Ability to solder using a microscope for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform IPC-compliant in-process visual verification of electronic assemblies.
• Provide real-time feedback to operators and document discrepancies.
• Operate Koh Young AOI equipment and support inspection processes.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Escalate systemic issues to leadership and engineering.
