Job summary

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) seeks an experienced litigation attorney to represent the District in antitrust and nonprofit matters within the Public Advocacy Division. This role prioritizes a strong public-interest focus and innovative legal strategy.

You will litigate complex civil cases, supervise investigations and multistate actions, and mentor junior attorneys while collaborating with law enforcement and government partners to advance the District’s legal objectives.

Qualifications

• Law degree and be a member of the DC Bar or eligible for waiver into bar.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 1 year at LA-14 equivalent.
• Strong civil litigation, familiarity with federal antitrust practice, and solid research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Litigate complex civil cases involving District and federal antitrust laws at all litigation stages.
• Manage nationwide and local litigation to promote the District’s participation in antitrust cases.
• Provide mentoring and supervision to junior attorneys and support staff.
