Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Franchising is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for the Antitrust & Competition practice. This highly strategic role partners with senior attorneys to drive growth, build client relationships, and develop sophisticated BD strategies across investigations, litigation, and transactional matters.

The position is hybrid with three days per week in major U.S. office locations.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive professional-services business development and marketing experience.
Law firm BD experience strongly preferred.
Direct experience supporting antitrust investigations, litigation, and/or transactional antitrust.
Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior attorneys and leadership.
Strong strategic planning, client development, prospecting, and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead global business development strategy for the Antitrust & Competition practice.
Partner with practice leadership and senior attorneys on business plans.
Identify prospective clients, market opportunities, and expand existing relationships.
Develop actionable client targets and outreach strategies.
Lead strategic client-development initiatives and attorney business-development trips.
Direct pitches, proposals, RFIs, and RFPs.
Monitor regulatory and market developments to identify opportunities.
Support lateral attorney integration and client-development planning.
Guide events, rankings, and market positioning.
Collaborate with BD and marketing teams across offices.
