Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Anti-Tamper Engineer specializing in microelectronics to support DoD AFLCMC/WAG-AT at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on assessing microelectronics, reverse engineering techniques, and CPI protection strategies.

The position requires an active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility and travel up to 10%. You will collaborate with DoD labs and industry partners to advance anti-tamper capabilities for critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP
• ABET-accredited engineering degree plus 12 years DoD/contractor experience or a Master’s with ABET degree and 8+ years
• Minimum 3 years SAP/SCI experience in last 8 years
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Assess microelectronics, ICs, processors, and memory used in military equipment
• Reverse engineer circuitry and use lab equipment to exploit systems
• Collaborate with DoD labs and industry partners on susceptibilities and lab exploitation
• Improve manufacture, operations, and de-militarization of weapon systems
• Interface with DoD Anti-Tamper teams to evaluate designs and vulnerabilities
• Develop plans to assess CPI security in GOTS/COTS components
• Support anti-tamper design, development, and sustainment
• Provide engineering oversight for proposals and ongoing projects
• Assess capabilities to meet design requirements and specifications
